Workshop (April 28, 2025) - 8:30am to 11:30am

Revolutionizing the Financial Services Industry: Building Serverless Digital Origination Flows

In this workshop, attendees will gain hands-on experience in developing a digital origination flow that can be applied to various use cases relevant for the Financial Services - Banking industry, such as credit card applications, loan applications, mortgage applications, and more. They will leverage their existing .NET (C#) development skills to build and deploy a microservices architecture entirely on Serverless technology, including Amazon ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, and several AWS AI services that are key to a typical customer and credit origination flow.

Workshop Objectives

This workshop is designed to help attendees learn how to use Amazon Q Developer to accelerate modernization across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). They will build a cloud-native application on AWS based on a microservices architecture that capitalizes on their existing .NET (C#) development skillset. What usually takes months, they will accomplish in hours, empowering them to immediately apply their learnings to real-world, relevant Financial Services Industry use cases.

Target Audience

This workshop is intended for attendees who are eager to dive into GenAI-assisted development through technical labs. No solid prior knowledge of AWS or AI/ML is required. However, a basic understanding of Visual Studio Code, C#, and .NET is beneficial. They don’t need to be an expert in .NET or C#.
